This book, whose publication was promoted and coordinated by AINEVA, is intended for all those who travel in the mountains either for work and leisure and who want to improve their knowledge and interpretation of the meteorological phenomena that characterise the alpine environment.
After a first part dedicated to general meteorology, the book addresses the typical aspects of alpine meteorology and then the implementation issues, such as weather forecasting and the weather dangers in the mountains.
The Zanichelli edition is no longer available. We are drawing up a new version that we hope will be distributed in 2020.
