REFRESHER COURSE FOR SNOW OBSERVER

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Holding a qualification as AINEVA snow observer.

SUBJECTS DEAL WITH

Updating of snow and weather data measurement methods based on the new international classification for seasonal snow on the ground (IACS 2009) that will be distributed to participants.

DURATION

1 day of 8 hours (4.5 days of theory + 3.5 of practice).

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS ADMITTED

The course allows for participation of up to 30 people (a minimum of 15 participants are required for the course to start).

The next day an optional course on snow mechanics and stability tests will take place. It is possible to register for the course by choosing this option in the registration form. The cost of the second day of course is EUR 120.00.
